Most people are using bottled water which are now a part of our everyday lives. This product ranges from simply purified to the trendiest of branded bottled waters. Water is bottled in simple plastic containers or in trendy glass shapes and sizes. Also, there are flavored bottled waters and fitness waters.
History
Even though many people may think that bottled water is a recent invention, water has been collected and bottled for many years. According to Nestle Waters, “bottled water” originated as far back as 10,000 B.C. when human beings transported water in skins. They fetched water from natural spring sources. In 218 B.C., while Hannibal rested his army, they quenched their thirst at the source of Perrier which is now known as one of the top-selling bottled sparkling waters.
Types Of Water
According to research, 50 percent of the water sold within the US is either purified or distilled. This type of water has been processed through deionization and reverse osmosis. The process uses heat to warm the water until it turns into steam droplets and then the droplets are collected. Doing so removes the bacteria and dissolves solids which in turn makes the water purified. Another popular type is spring water. This is bottled from an underground area where the water flows naturally towards the surface of the earth.
Moreover, people in Europe have been bottling and exporting waters for years.
Bottled Waters
All producers of bottled water claim that their water is better-quality than our usual tap waters. According to purified water brands, distilled ones are better because all bacteria and impurities are already eliminated. On the other hand, spring water brands frequently have some kind of mineral make-up; most of them contain traces of potassium, fluoride magnesium, and calcium.
